Lady Gaga toasts her Academy Award win for “Best Original Song” at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party (Photo courtesy Vanity Fair)

To say last night’s fashion at the 2019 Academy Awards was award-winning is an understatement. The show didn’t need a host for us to celebrate the wins for our favorite leading ladies—on- and off-screen. Choosing our favorite outfits from the evening was incredibly hard—but we’ve rounded up a few that truly screamed “A Star Is Born,” and found coordinating pieces from DesignerShare for you to channel your favorite icons.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga got one step closer to EGOT status by looking like a true Hollywood star. She wore a black structural Alexander McQueen gown that was far from boring, along with one of the rarest yellow diamond pieces in the world by Tiffany & Co., clocking in at an astonishing 128 carats. She changed into another black look by Brandon Maxwell for her “Shallow” performance with Bradley Cooper and to celebrate her win at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Channel Gaga in this similar Adrianna Pappell gown and drip in Rogers & Hollands diamonds.

Jennifer Lopez

Is it a surprise that J.Lo always seems to steal the show? She showed up to present decked in a silver long-sleeved Tom Ford mirrored gown. Metallics are always a favorite at the Oscars, and Jennifer’s glam style is the perfect complement to the golden statues. Our other favorite metallic looks included Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton, Glenn Close in Carolina Herrera, and Brie Larson in Celine by Hedi Slimane. All The Pink Ladies

The biggest color trend of the night? Pink! We saw the dreamy hue from cotton candy on Kacey Musgraves in Giambattista Valli Couture, to magenta on Gemma Chan in Valentino Couture, to Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa’s coordinating dusty rose Fendi ensembles, plus many more on the red carpet and at the after parties. Own your pink power in this Laundry by Shelli Segal hot pink pleated gown.

We want to include everyone, but want to make sure we mention: Regina King winning her first Oscar in a white Oscar de La Renta, Charlize Theron in dusty blue Dior Couture, and the beautiful and strong Selma Blair in a stunning Ralph & Russo pleated multi-colored gown.
